Dutchess County Weather Guide
The weather in Dutchess County New York is quite moderate in
comparison to many other northern areas. Although we do get
snow and there are four very distinct seasons, its a
pleasant climate both summer and winter.
Dutchess County’s average temperatures range from a low of
18° F in January to high of 84° F in July.

Springtime does
see a bit more rain than other portions of the year, however
it is not a distinct rainy season, with the 30 odd inches of
rain quite well disbursed over the year.
Our growing season lasts from about late May to late
September, and our climate is perfect for those grapes you'd
love to grow.
